    It used to be about six feel long and three and-half feet wide. A wooden bed that used to be placed in the cailleach. It was called a cailleach because it used to be an old woman that used to be sleeping it it.
    The cattle used to be tied in the room. The ties that used to be tying them were called "ceannask." [?]
    The hens used to be over their heads in the kitchen. They used to be on the beames. At that time the people had not many hens. They were ashamed to have too many at that time. They were afraid because the land Lord would put them out of their homes. The Land Lord would think they would be getting too rich.
    They used not have any ovens for baking the bread. They used to have a leaf of cabbage left on the "griosach." Then they would leave a cake on the cabbage leaf. Then they would put another cabbage leaf over the cake and put some "griosach" on top also.
