There is a liss in Patrick Heaney's field in Ballygalss and another about a quarter of a mile away from that beside a stream and any animal or person that walked in that stream would not be able to leave it. There is a liss in one of John Culkin's [?] fields in Belmont surrounded by a stone wall and inside a graveyard with a bush in the centre
where the Blakes, who lived there, were buried. They were Protestants and no Catholic was ever buried in it.
