  1. There are two lisses in Logalisheen and it is said that the fairies sleep there. They are circular in shape with low trees in the middle of them. There is a liss in Boley Boy and when a man was passing there one night, he saw a lighted candle in a man's hand at the mouth of the liss and since that, everyone is afraid to pass at night. There is a fort in Cloonaine where John Treacy lived and people say that seven more can be seen from it. This was supposed to be the king's residence and the place is still called Castlerea. This fort was ploughed once and the next day, it was turned back again. There is also a fort in Pollorinaig supposed to be a Danish fort.
