Shorlty afterwards the smith died and went to the gates of heaven. The Angel said to him that he sold himself for riches to the devil and to go to him. There he went to the gates of hell and the devil would not allow him in saying that he had enough of him before. The devil asked fro a lighted wisp to be handed to him so that it would keep him warm. The smith is wandering from heaven to earth since then. That is the light which is een in the bog some nights.
