  1. The name of my home district is Drumshinnagh. It is situated in the townland of bloghermore, in the parish of brossboyne, in the barony of blaremorris. The There are the families in my townland. There are approximately forty people in the townland. The most common family name is Barnicle. Seven houses are thatched, two are partly slated. Many of the people intend to build slated houses because they say that they would be more comfortable if they had slated houses.
