  1. About six miles from here there is a place called Turlough. Beside that place there is a Mansion. It is the nicest in the county Mayo. At the sides of the big house there is alot of lovely flowers and shrubs. In front of the mansion there is a beautiful lake. It is said that in that lake there is a pan of gold. People from all over the place go to see it. About twenty years ago four men said that they would dive for the pan and bring it up. The morning came when the men arrived at Turlough.
