    A fox's tongue will take out a thorn.
    If you get a bite from a dog get a rib of his hair and put it on the cut.
    The cure for hoarseness is to eat garlic.
    To cure a pain in the back boil horse-broom in water. Rub it into the back before going to bed.
    To cure a tooth ache rub Sloan's liniment on the tooth.
    To cure a wart go to a stone that has water on it and say "Water on a stone, water on a stone, it's not for you I came but for the cure."
    To cure a stone bruise put six snails in a piece of cloth. Tie the cloth and the snails to the stone bruise for one night.
    Hot milk and pepper is a cure for a pain in the stomach.
    If you have a cut on your finger put paraffin oil on the cut.
    Hot water is good for taking out a thorn
