    A few years ago Dr- of L- fell sick suffering from Erysipelas.

    case and being fairly familiar with him, wishing to have an innocent "poke" at him I asked him.
    How is Dr O'-- now.
    "He's O.K. now" said my friend: "we made a great job of him."
    "Did ye"! said I with a doubting voice inflexion.
    "We did" said he--You don't think twas Anndie Harney's plaster that did it"
    "And why not"? said I.
    "For one thing" said the man of Science "twas never used". "M. M." (the other Dr) or I would not let it inside the house.
    "And couldn't Mrs. O' have got it and used it unknown to you saying 'twas a new (de)(con)coction of yours" said myself.
    I have to go on a call said the Dr.
