    A sharp knife curved backwards is used for cutting horses hoofs. Besides every forge there is a round ring of stones with a hole in the centre. This is used for putting the iron types on wheels of carts. A big turf fire is built around the stone ring and in the centre of the fire placed the tyre. When the tyre is red hot it is taken out of the fire by means of two short strong tongs. Then the tyre is placed around the wheel and being enlargened by the heat fits easily on.
