  1. Landlords
I live in the townland of Cloonlynch. The landlord of our village was Miss Pringle
She lived in Logaphuil. She was a very wicked woman. There is a lot of stories told about her life and death. She had plenty of money and it is said that she lived a very poor life. It is said that the horses refused to pull the hearse when she died. She charged the people very heavy rent and they were not able to paid pay it. She used to pay men to collect the rent for her. She used also make the men of the village work for her and she would not pay them.
