  1. Some time ago it was supposed that there was a -pot- pot of gold hidden in a fort, and that there was a leprahaun minding it. There was one family who made up their minds that they would try and get it. -Th- There were three men, a woman and a child supposed to go to find it. One night they started of after twelve o'clock and went to the place and began to dig. There was no one to speak -from- after the digging began. They could hear the leprahaun whistling. They dug on for an hour or two, and at last the child sneezed, but no one spoke. He a sneezed _ and third time, then one of the men said "Dia linn a bua?chaill". The very moment the -mat- man spoce the hole was filled in again, and the men had to go home without the gold.
