    Once upon a time there was a pot of gold under a rock and a man standing beside it.

    Once upon a time there was a pot of gold under a rock and a man standing beside it. Two men got guns and they fired shots at the man. Every shot they fired his eyes got bigger. At last his eyes got so big that they got afraid and they went home. Next day they went into Castlebar for the army of soldiers.
    They came out and brought great big guns with them. They fired a lot of shots and him and his eyes got as big as a bucket. At last he said to them if you give me a bit of humon [sic] flesh
