    One day a woman from Báile Arth was going to a spinning meithéal in Ceathramh Chaol.

    One day a woman from Baile Arth was going to a spinning meitheal in Ceathramh Chaol.
    As she was crossing a field near the river, she struck her foot against a stone, and to her great surprise when she looked down to see if her foot was bleeding, she saw a pot of gold at her feet. She got a piece of stick and stuck it in the ground beside the gold for a mark. She then ran for the neighbours. But when they came to the field it was covered with little sticks and they could not find the one which was beside the gold.
