    In the year 1798 the Yeomen raided every village in the locality trying to find out the man wrote false stories about the Yeomen.

    In the year 1798 the Yeoman raided every village in the locality trying to find out the man wrote false stories about the Yeomen. There was a spy in the place and he told the Yeomen where the man was. They believed the spy and they gave him £3 reward. They then set out for the house. When they reached the house the man had the windows closed with stones. The Yeomen broke through the kitchen door and the man went into the room. The soldiers could not get into the room and they were planning out a trick to get out the man
