  1. It is said that there is a pot of gold hidden in a field named Burren which is about one from Mountpleasant school. A Leprechaun has been seen there on several occasions. He is supposed to be in charge of the money. People are afraid to dig for it because it is said that three lives must be lost before it can be found.
