    a fort. He remembers seeing the neighbours coming in to their house because they were afraid to stay in their own houses. He also remembers seeing the men with their backs to the door in order to prevent the wind from blowing in the door. He also tells us that as he and his father were going back the road towards Carrownalthore. He remembered seeing a girl coming over the road and he saw her head all bandaged up. He asked his father what happened the girl and and his father said that as she was walking the road during the storm she was taken off the road with the strong breeze and dashed against the wall.
