  1. An old mason lived in Ireland in the time of Saint Patrick. He was very rich. he was a good mason and the people called him Gobán Saor.
    He had an only son and he wished to get a good wife for him. When the son was old enough to get married his father killed a sheep and skinned it. He then sent his son to the market to sell it. he told him to bring back the skin and the price of it.
    When the young man reached the market he could not get anyone to buy the skin. The people only laughed at him when he asked the skin and the price.
    On his return journey he saw a young girl washing
