    the man of the house would invite them in to dance. They used to dress in plaited straw with hats three feet high also made of plaited straw. Very seldom there were rows and when they were leaving they would thank the party of the house and go quietly.
    In this place there was a pillion drag home. The horses had a double saddle and bride and bride groom would sit on the same horse and I remember a race from the church to the wedding house to see who would be first in.
