When you meet a red-haired woman early in the morning.
When a robin comes in the window.
When you find two knives crossed on a table.
When you spill salt on the floor through accident.
Two spoons in a cup a marriage.
Bad luck to bring hawthorn into a house.
There will be a fight in the house if you have a boot on the table or an umberella opened indoors.
