  1. At weddings long ago they used to have a dragging. This means people used to go on horse-back after the car in which the bride and bridegroom were. There used to be a race to see who would reach the wedding house first. Each man would have a woman behind him on the horse. The first pair to reach the house would tap the barrel and they would get two drinks extra.
