  1. One night two boys were going to a dance. When they were as far as the Windy Gap they saw a stream of water across the road. When they were passing through the water they felt themselves getting very hot. For about 15 minutes the two men were roasted with the heat. When they got as far as the dance they went in and spent the night in it. When it was 12 o'clock the two boys left the dance hall and went home. They went home the same road as they came to the dance and never saw or heard anything.
