  1. Long ago the people used to tie calves below the table in the house. Once a woman had two fine calves tied in the house.
    An old woman that she never saw before came in. She looked at the calves and said they were fine calves. Then she went away. It was not long till the two calves started jumping and broke away out the door. The woman of the house followedd the old Lady When she told her about the calves the old woman said "I did nothing to them God bless them" When the woman came home she found the calves all right again.
