    There was a wake in little Cullenstown last week.

    There was a wake in Little Cullenstown last week. Nick Culleton's wake , and a girl from the place by the name of Tierney (Molly Tierney) said she seen Nick Culleton in the yard - and he wake above stars at the time. 'Twas about four oclock in the morning, and herself and her mother went out in the shed when she was putting out her hand to catch the door she was caught by the wrist, and she seen Nick Culleton standing beside her.
    'Twas a fright to hear her screeching when she came in. She was screeching and roaring it bet all. She frightened what was in the place.
    Her wrist was swelled up next day where she said he caught her. Wasn't that a remarkable thing?

    I was coming home wan night from Rockview meself and Mike Carroll, and when we were coming down the avenue I could hear the step beside me of a wonder, and Mike could see her and I couldn't see her but I could hear the step. Wasn't that strange?
