    There was a gentleman and his servant travelling around the country one time.

    surprised when he heard both of them talking and he asked why they were signing to him when they could use their tongue. The wife told him that it was a bargain that the first to speak was to go for the water. The gentleman understood then and he went away quite satisfied.
