  1. There was a man one time and he was greatly troubled with swarms of rats. There was a big pot in the boil house always full of food for the pigs and when morning would the most of it would be eaten by the rats. He set a trap in it one night and the next morning he found the trap snapped but there was no rat to be seen. He set the trap again the
