I heard the following story from Dan Meaden Bishop's Wood Durrow. There was a man living in Kilkenny named O'Higgins. When he was seven years of age he fell asleep outside a rath. When he woke up he saw a book, a fiddle and a sword. He ran to the fiddle and picked it up. After picking it up it began to play. Note by teacher. There was a famous itinerant fiddler around Kilkenny named O'Higgins. He died about 10 years ago.
