  1. About six years ago on the hill of Knockshegowna there were a number of fairies to be seen. At the fairy pass at Knockshegowna there was a house in which people lived. One night fairies came to the gate and girl came out into the yard to see who it was and they took her away with them.
    One day a small woman went into the house and told them that if the girl's three brothers were out at a certain time that their sister would come by the fairy pass on a white horse.
