  1. In Robinstown, Co. Meath there is a cave and in that cave a crock of gold is hidden. A man one time dremt three times after other about the treasure. He told another man about his dream, so they made up their minds to go and try to get it. One night they set off about midnight for the cave, when they reached the cave they found it was very dark inside. They lighted a candle, and to their great surprise they saw two armed men standing each side of where the crock of gold was. When they went up to the men the candle quenched, they lighted it again and again, but every time they'd come up to the men the candle would go out. So after wasting the candle and all matches they had to come home without the gold. After that several people tried to get it, but they failed. And unless I am very much mistaken the gold is still there and nobody ever got it.
