    Long ago, in this district, there were no roads as there are now. The only road in those days for going to the town of Ballina was the GallowsHill road. it was made by the people of the place, as there was no money granted by the Government for the making of roads at that time.
    The reason it was called the GallowsHill road was, that it was going through the village of GallowsHill.
    Before the GallowsHill road was made, there was the "green road" through which a lot of people used to travel with
