    When one party of Danes was going to rise out in rebellion they notified the other Danes by lighting a faggot of furze. Then they were ready to begin the rebellion.
    The field in which Power's Lios is situated was not supposed to be interfered with by human beings. A man and his horse who attempted to plough the field were stricken dead a few days later as a punishment from the fairies.
    The Danes were routed from the lios in the time of Cromwell.
