    It is said that in the field at the north side of the Caherdavin road Sarsfield camped his men and that the soldiers are still seen fighting at midnight. If you pass that way at midnight you are in danger of getting killed by one of the soldiers.

    The roads running through Coonagh are:- Connagh road, Johnny's road, Lowes Town road and the Maosh road. Coonagh road is running from the Ennis road up through the Upper village of Coonagh. It is divided into two parts by a cross. One part is called Coonagh road and the other part
