    5 "Landlords"
There were landlords in the district long ago.I do not know who they were. They were in the district up to the year 1918 or 1920.The people thought nothing of them.Thirty houses In Ballymacahill were tumbled down and the owners evicted. They died of hunger by the roadside. The landlords divided the lands into farms. The tenants were afraid of the landlords.I have no story about the landlords.Tithes are not gathered in the district.Nothing is gathered.I have no story about tithes ,or about rent bailiffs or landlords.
