  1. Not very long ago there lived a huge man out near Middle Line near Scariff. He was as strong as six men put together. One day he went to the bog of Baha for a creel of turf. On his way home the wheel of the car broke and he could not fix it. So he put the wheel up on top of the load and he caught the axle by one hand and he carried the load home.
Not so long after that he began contrasting the neighbours, he was then put to jail by the peelers. When he arrived at the door of the jail, he had to creep in because he was so big. He got on very good there because he did very hard work and the keepers fed him well, soon after that he died after leaving jail.
