- The following are some of the cures which people long ago for different kinds of diseases.
Diseases. Cures.
Wart. Steal a piece of meat and rub it to the wart. Then bury the meat and according as it rots the wart will also rot.
Wart. Get a stone in the middle of field. See that there is a hole in the centre of it and that tis full of water. Dip your finger in the water and the wart will be cured.
Cuts. Rub a cobweb to them.
Cuts. Rub moss to them.
Sore Eyes. Rub a little water found in a hollow stone to them.
