    he met a young princess very handsome and asked her to marry him and so she did. He brought her home to his own palace and she was very happy for a while. She got very uneasy about the young prince for fear the old king would die and leave the kingship to him. So she got more restless every day till she called in her grand adviser and asked him how could the young prince
    be got rid of
    '' Did you speak to the king about it''?
    She said ''No''
    ''Well'' said the grand adviser
    ''speak to him and tell him he must put the prince away or you will die''
    So she spoke to the king and he would not hear tell of such a thing. So she called the her adviser again to know what
    she was to do.
    ''Well'' says the grand adviser
    ''Go to the cook and tell her when she is killing chickens to keep the blood for you''
    ''And what on earth will that do for me?''
    ''Have it in a cup and when you find the king coming have your mouth full of the chicken's blood and let him see you vomit it
