Once upon a time there was a man and he was very forgetful. One day he went to the fair of Ballyjamesduff, bringing his horse and cart with him He left the horse and cart in a yard, he met with some companions and spent some time with them, they arranged to be home together On his way down his own lane he began to think he forgot something, so when he came to his own gate his wife came running out saying, "Oh Johny where is the horse and cart.
