  1. "Scollteen" - a cure for a cold. No. 99.
    Boil whiskey, hot water, butter, sugar, and carraway seeds and take a glass of this hot going to bed.
    Cure for a cold. No. 100:
    Mull porter that is boil it with sugar until it thickens and drink it hot before retiring.
    Cure for worms in cats. N. 101.
    Get some turpentine and the same amount of linseed oil and give it to the cats.
    Cure for Hiccoughs. No. 102.
    The quickest form of relief is hold the breath and pulse for a minute.
    Cure for Headaches. No. 103.
    Relief will frequently be obtained if the forehead is rubbed with methylated spirit.
    Cure for Cough. No. 104.
    Peel a turnip and cut in slices and put it in a jar and put sugar on it and cover the jar and it there over a night and drink it fasting.
    Cure for "tholah" (?) or strain in the wrist. No. 105.
    Tie a piece of black silk round the wrist and wear till better.
    106. Wear a leather strap on wrist till strain is better.
    He would make sacks of ropes: is very smart. If you throw a piece
     of rope in the fire and it does not burn completely you will get a better room (?).
