on the four corners of the house, to keep away bad luck for the next year. Hallows Eve is the last day of October. People say that you should not eat the blackberries after that night as the fairies poison them. And there is a feast in nearly every house in the country of boxty and cakes with rings in them and whoever gets the ring will be married first, and they also have nuts and apples. The people play games, and tricks and they have a very enjoyable night.
