    Take the bones form the leg of a calf who has died with the blackleg. Hang them up in the chimney or to the rafters and while they are kept no other animal will die of that disease about the place.

    Put a little lump of blue stone on washing soda down the turkeys throat.
    To cure broody hens. No. 48.
    To put the clocking off a hen dip her well in a barrel of cold water.
    To cure thieving dogs. No. 49.
    To stop dogs from eating eggs put mustard in an egg and when the dig eats this one he will not touch any more.

    If a sow eats a young gosling get the gosling before she has it fully eaten put pepper on it and give it to her to eat and she will not eat any more.
    No. 51.
    To cure a belly ache in calves is to give them warm milk with ginger in it.
