    She builds her nest on the ground and she lays fifteen or seventeen eggs and the colour of the young corncrakes are black and the old corncrakes are a reddish colour.
    "Eight and eight corncrake" is what the corncrake says.
    The lark is a brown bird she is not very large she is also a great songster, she flies very high in the sky and she builds her nest on the ground. She lays four or five eggs. The kind of a nest is just a hole in the ground and pads it with feathers.
    The snipe is a fairly big brown bird with a very long bill she builds her nest in a clump of rushes she lays three pointed eggs with dark spots over them. She is sometimes called the night goat because she makes the same noise as a
