    they wake up in the morning their hair is white and they will get some joint broken, maybe in their neck and if they did they would die, so nobody touches it.
    There is also supposed to be a crock of gold under it too and a black cat sits beside it all the time to protect it, and to get the crock of gold you have got to shoot the cat with a sixpence and there are also fairy men watching it at night.
