  1. In the townland of Leehary there once lived a man called Matthew McCabe.
    He lived on the rocks, where wood was very scarce, and he had no firewood of any kind. It is said that once he was in a very bad way for firewood, so he cut it, a lone bush and ever since that he could not look at you straight in the face,
