    were destroyed by the snow. The people living in the hills were short of food and were starving
    When the snow melted there was a lot of bodies of animals to be seen. The farmers were at a great loss that year because of the loss of their stock and their crops.
    When the snow melted, the country people were happy because they were able to get to the town for food.
    From that time till this there never has been such a bad storm in this district.
