  1. There is a fairy fort in Rathcarn near our school. There is another in Bohermeen. They are in view of each other. They are called forts. It is thirty feet under the ground. There are no trees round it. There is a hole in one end of it. Once upon a time a heifer went into the Rathcarn fort and it was lost.
