  1. There is an echo in the field called "Monkey Hill". If one stands on one side of the mound and one on the other side the sound is repeated. It is supposed that there was an underground tunnel from it to Monasterboice. There is an echo at the bottom of Haamlinstown lane because a river runs under it. There are two echoes on the Cockle Road one near Flynn's and one at a turn of the road where an old paved road used to pass.
