    About two hundred yards down the road from Coolmoyne School house there is a big farm owned by Mr. O'Dwyer. In this farm there is a big field bounding the road. This field is called the Orchard Field. This got its name because it was once covered by and orchard, nine acres in extent. The next field to this is the Quarry Field. The next field is called the Gorry field, probably taken from the Irish word Garradh because there was once a garden there. The next field is called the bog field so called because there is a bog in it. The field outside this is called Cahill's field, because it adjoins Mr. Cahill's farm.
    There is another farm adjoining this one. Mr. J. Hayes owns it. It is called Hayes' of the Standhouse. The
