    cows are put in a bail to be milked. This device consists of two horizontal bars of timber with one light vertical bar which is fixed in position between the two former. There is another vertical bar having one end however pliable which gives plenty of room to the cow to put in her head and then can be tightened rendering the cow powerless to move backwards.
    The horses have also different names, some of them are called according to their size or colour such as the small horse, teh batty and the pony. Most of the farm horses sleep in a stable. The stable is made of cement and a boarded floor. Some of these stalls are divided into
