    afterwards a Peace Commissioner in the Parish of Adare. One day a case was brought before him between Catholics and Protestants. The Protestant said. "We are the Loyalists", but he said, "Ye are not. When I was in Waterloo the Protestants refused to rescue me when I was captured, but twenty Catholics rescued me and brought me back to my regiment.
