    barley bread and milk for their breakfast, potatoes and sour milk for their dinner, and the same for their supper. He evicted John Normoyle of Rour, although he had his rent paid up to the last gael day. That eviction took place about the year 1875.
    Tuogh was the property of the third Earl of Dunraven. His agent was Captain Jack Ball, the natives of Adare and the parish will always remember it, the three tyrants, the third Earl had for scourging the tenants namely Pyper, Ball and Bradley.
    Rev. Father O'Grady was Parish Priest of Adare from 1835 to 1865. He had the interests of his parishoners at heart. He used to visit their
