  1. Interesting finds in the locality.
    The following ancient articles have been found in the locality, and are at present in the possession of Cornelious Normoyle of Rour, who has given us the following descriptions of them.
    1st. A polished stone axe with an encrustation which has puzzled Archaeoligists to find out what it means.
    2nd. A stone whirl for an ancient spinning wheel.
    3rd. A bronze axe with socket.
    4th. A small hand quern about four inches in diameter.
    5th. Two old querns about twelve inches in diameter.
    6th. A stock of a flint pistol.
